Ok, so you’ve decided to buy some bunkbed plans and build that bunk bed promised to your kids. I would like to think the first thing that came to your mind was, “Will these bunk beds be safe for them?”
At first glance, building bunk beds seems to be an easy task. But when you consider your children and their safety, you realize that this is a very important task. With the children horsing around, shaking on those beds, choosing the right bed plans and making sure that these plans would produce a structure that can withstand the pressure of their activities is a must.
In keeping with the tone of this blog, I reviewed all of the reviewers for their take on bunkbed plans. The consensus was that several plans were available. All were well organized, easy to follow and could be completed in a reasonable timeframe.

My Dad was the type of guy who could see a project in his head and never had to have a good set of wood work plans to go by. Unfortunately, I’m not one of those guys, and I’d venture to guess, you aren’t either. Those guys are few and far between.
So where does that leave the rest of us mere mortals? We’re left to actually think of a project, then track down a set of wood work plans, and hopefully understand them well enough to complete the project.
I decided to search for Reviews of sites that provide wood work plans, and do a “Review of the Reviewers” and provide this information to the readers.
I found what looks like a great product based on the number of reviews I found. The name of the product is WoodWorking4home. There were many reviews for this, some were obviously right off the sales page, and some were done by folks who had actually bought the product. My review of the reviewers will be a little of both.
Every single one of the reviewers mentioned that there were fully detailed diagrams that were very accurate with step by step instructions making completion of the projects easy.
The only thing mentioned in a negative way was that the member’s area of the website is a little confusing. So what, nobodies perfect.
I hope this helps you a bit looking for a good source of wood work plans. I will be adding posts on individual plans as I get this blog underway. Keep visiting and see what happens.
